Aqeel Shahid - General Manager for Arizona

Mr. Shahid joined Telesphere in February of 2008. As the General Manager of the Arizona Market, Mr. Shahid brings with him more than 11 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career in telecom as an account executive with Sprint where he was later promoted to a Data Sales Manager managing and supporting their B2B sales teams selling data products. Shahid moved to Eschelon Telecom/Integra Telecom where he spent over 6 years as a Sr. Sales Manager managing sales teams in Arizona. He has won numerous awards in sales including being a part of the "Presidents Club" for several years in his career.

Mr. Shahid earned his B.S. in Marketing from Arizona State University and his MBA in Technology Management. While at ASU, Mr. Shahid was an active member of the Business College Council where, he also served as a VP of Marketing. He is still an active member of the ASU Alumni Association and an avid supporter of the ASU Sun Devils.
